Suzanne Solum of Sunshine Piano Studio & Sunrise Music began her music education in piano at 8 years of age. She also added other instruments, music theory, and both solo and ensemble experience. She studied at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in their bachelor of music program and at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas and is a member of MTNA, TMTA, and ETMTA, where she has served as President, Chamber Music Festival Chair, and Theory Chair. Her continuing music education includes online courses from Berklee School of Music.
The gifted teachers she had over the years inspired her life-long love of music, which included many styles of music and the understanding of how music is put together. This is the gift she passes on to her students to equip them to play, create, and arrange the music that motivates them and enriches their lives. Sunshine Piano Studio is located near the DFW area in north Texas. Sunshine Piano Studio offers both in-studio piano lessons in Combine, TX, and online piano lessons, music theory lessons, composition lessons using Finale, music notation software, and CuBase Pro, DAWS music production & recording software.
